Xiaomi diduga mengirimkan data pribadi user ke server yang berbasis di Beijing.

Menguti situs berita detikINET via Sunday Standart, Kamis (23/10/2014), Indian Air Force (IAF) memperingatkan kalau smartphone dan produk elektronik Xiaomi yang lain diduga mengirimkan data pribadi user ke server yang berbasis di Beijing.

"F Secure, sebuah perusahaan terdepan dalam solusi sekuriti, belum lama ini menguji coba Xiaomi Redmi 1S, dan menemukan bahwa ponsel ini mengirim nama operator, nomor telepon, IMEI, buku alamat dan pesan teks ke Beijing," kata IAF.

"Sedangkan seorang pengguna ponsel di Hong Kong mengklaim telah mengujicoba smartphone Redmi Note dan menemukan kalau ponsel itu secara otomatis terkoneksi pada alamat IP di China. Data yang ditransmisi termasuk foto dan juga SMS," tambah mereka.

Adapun penjelasan Hugo Barra (Google+) selaku salah satu petinggi Xiaomi terkait hal ini adalah :

Hewlett-Packard (HP) dikenal sebagai produsen komputer dan printer. Perusahaan asal Amerika Serikat ini sepertinya ingin mempertahankan reputasinya untuk urusan komputer dengan menciptakan perangkat baru.

Desas-desus ini pertama kali dilansir situs Re/code. Dalam laporannya, mengutip sumber internal HP yang tidak disebutkan namanya, HP kabarnya akan membuat 'spesies' perangkat baru.

The product combines a large flat-screen display — similar to its Pavilion Touchsmart line of touch-enabled desktop PCs — with a flat touch-enabled work surface and an overhead assembly that combines a projector and a 3-D scanner, according to people who’ve seen it.

The overhead device projects images downward onto the work surface, which users can manipulate with their hands or with a stylus. They can resize pictures, move elements around and change colors. They can also easily add new elements to the image by scanning objects or other images directly on the work surface. This is where the overhead 3-D scanner comes into play. Adding an image of any object is as easy as placing it on the work surface where it can be scanned and then included in whatever the user is working on.

Sprout will run Windows initially, but future versions could run Google’s ChromeOS, sources say. It’s unclear what the starting price will be.

Untuk informasi spesifikasinya memang belum jelas tetatpi dugaan para analis, Nexus 9 akan mengusung resolusi layar tinggi yang diduga adalah QHD (2560x1440 pixel), Nexus 9 juga akan dibenamkan prosesor terbaru NvidiaTegra K1 dan OS yang dipakai Android L.

Confirmasi hal tersebut sudah disampaikan pihak NVIDIA terkait pengembangan untuk Android L

Sebelum penulis membeli Evercoss Elevate Y2 penulis mencoba mengenal hand held yang akan dicoba. Dari penelusuran penulis mengenai Evercoss Elevate Y2 menggunakan Processor Octa Core dengan no seri MTK6592 dengan speed 1.7 GHz.

Tak kenal maka tak sayang, Evercoss Elevate Y2 dengan MTK6592, mari kita lihat lebih dalam terkait MTK6592.

MTK6592 adalah processor Octa Core murni yang di buat Oleh Mediatek yang release July 2013. Tentunya Evercoss bukan asal pilih, dimana Evercoss Elevate Y2 berani mengambil processor tersebut yang nota bene juga hampir di pakai oleh vendor yang lain.

Salah satu internet company di china ini yang namanya setenar Google dan Yahoo di kampung halamannya China. Baidu Semakin melebarkan sayapnya ke Indonesia, apakah ini pertanda pasar Indonesia menarik untuk di gali lebih dalam ?

Pantuan Halo Saja! di beberapa halaman portal berita meyakini bahwa Baidu sangat tertarik dengan pasar Indonesia.

Marketing Manager Baidu Indonesia, Iwan Setiawan mengemukakan "Kami melihat pasar Indonesia, prospek dari industri digital di Indonesia terutama di bidang internet dan aplikasi, masih terbuka lebar,” ucap Iwan.

Adapun aplikasi yang diperkenalkan di Indonesia antara lain di kategori  PC dan Mobile. Untuk PC, Baidu memiliki Baidu Antivirus yang mengombinasikan tiga engine antivirus sekaligus, menawarkan kinerja ringan dan kemampuan yang handal. Ada juga Baidu PC Faster, yaitu sebuah utility yang dapat membantu pengguna PC atau notebook menjaga kinerja perangkatnya agar tetap cepat dan nyaman saat digunakan.


Produk lainnya seperti Hao123.com dan Baidu Spark Browser. Produk pertama yang disebutkan merupakan sebuah situs yang menyediakan beragam tautan informasi untuk pengguna internet. Sedangkan Baidu Spark Browser memiliki keunggulan dalam hal kecepatan dan beragam fitur menarik lainnya, seperti download manager, video downloader dan sebagainya.

Untuk pengguna mobile, Baidu juga menghadirkan MoboMarket, yakni toko aplikasi untuk Android yang memberikan rasa aman, cepat, nyaman dan lebih banyak menghadirkan aplikasi lokal. Untuk itulah, MoboMarket lebih mengedepankan aplikasi-aplikasi buatan anak bangsa dengan memberikan area khusus untuk kalangan developer lokal.

Ada pula aplikasi Baidu Browser, DU Battery Saver dan DU Speed Booster. Aplikasi Baidu Browser lebih menitikberatkan untuk memberi kemudahan bagi pengguna perangkat mobile untuk berselencar di dunia maya dengan lebih cepat dan nyaman. Baidu Browser juga dilengkapi dengan beragam konten lokal serta dapat diakses dengan lebih mudah dan terintegrasi.

Sedangkan DU Battery Saver dan DU Speed Booster sangat berguna untuk menghemat pemakaian baterai serta meningkatkan kinerja ponsel Android yang dipakai oleh pengguna. Iwan juga menambahkan bahwa Baidu akan terus berupaya untuk mengembangkan bisnis dan menghasilkan beragam produk handal yang dapat diterima oleh pasar, tidak terkecuali pengguna di Indonesia.

Dari informasi di atas bisa ditarik benang merah, bahwa kerjsama yang timbul dengan perusahaan ini akan menghasilkan keuntungan yang lebih karena selain mendapat dukungan SDM baidu yang sudah menghasilkan aplikasi - aplikasi yang notabene sudah dikenal luas tentu akan lebih mudah mengaet pasar bersama.
